DRD Enterprises has and still is an earth moving heavy equipment company offering equipment
with operators, including draglines. Always evolving, DRD Enterprises began constructing SafeDomes after witnessing
the destruction caused by Hurricane Andrew. From this event, David Pressler, a firefighter with MiamiDade County at
the time and current president, recognized the need for affordable personal shelters. Today SafeDomes have been
delivered to sites from Big Pine Key to Pensacola, Florida and many spots in between. Most recently 12 SafeDomes have
been ordered by the Department of Defense for Fort Hood, Texas.
DRD is now offering 40ft to 48ft

The
plan to develop a solar powered fish farm and in turn develop a solar power plant was prevented
by DeSoto County Florida. The plan to modify a safedome into a alternative energy power plant is still being developed
and would have if not for the cease work order by DeSoto County. Hopefully this issue will be resolved and a SafeDome
