When Mrs. Burton ordered her SafeDome in 2004 little did she know that the eye of Hurricane Wilma would be going down her street at Gun Club Road and Military Trail only months later.  According to Mrs. Burton she and her son would not have known there was a hurricane outside if they hadn't kept hearing metal flying in the 130 mph winds of Wilma.

Recently Rory Burton has bought another SafeDome for his home on the same street in West Palm Beach

When Miami Dade County wanted a saferoom for its personnel stationed in the Everglades Miami Dade Aviation chose a SafeDome.  Miami Dade County Saved monies by not having to construct a permanent structure on site.
